Rooted in story-telling, Alex’s wearables shirk the mainstream and exist in the excess. Galvanized by society’s overflow, the clothing and accessories she creates by hand are not meant to be consumed, but consummated.

As an ongoing study in discipline and craft. Alex produces 2-3 quilts a year using found and collected material from her textile archive.
